In our communities there are countless problems caused by the lack of opportunities and the vulnerability of children and youth in contexts of poverty, loneliness, abandonment, lack of family structure, poor health, gangs and bone, among many other problems.
Music provides a series of opportunities and tools to human beings, to escape from all these realities, even to have a different way of life and not fall into social problems so common in our environment. Music even becomes a work tool that gives the opportunity to survive.
That is why we believe that we work collaborating in prevention for children and young people in risk situations, such as gangs, vices, migration and the lack of a discipline that will lead them to a better life.
Although our organization was legally formalized in 2013, in reality we have been working in this area since approximately 1995, and all these years we have been able to verify the "effect" that music usually has on a human being, mainly on children and young people, who are the ones we work with.
In addition to this, over the years, we have been able to know that there have been several scientific studies on the human brain, and more specifically, on the effect of music on the brain. These studies have shown how the brain of a person who maintains a constant and structured practice of a musical instrument, develops millions of neural connections in his brain and, with this, develops language skills, calculation, psychomotor and many others that directly affect any activity that the individual wants to perform.
Therefore, we are sure that our work contributes to the development, not only of individuals, but also of communities.
