The number of students we serve has grown from 5 in 2016 to 120 in 2020, pre-covid to 65 in 2021, amidst COVID.
Key offerings
In 2016 we only provided dance classes. Since then, we have expanded to also offer English classes, academic support through scholarships and
school supplies, Bible studies, arts and crafts nights, travel opportunities and food distribution in 2020.
Location
We have grow from one location in 2016 to 4 towns in 2020 (pre-covid). Our program is currently virtual. We do not give in-person classes in our studio locations or at the orphanges.
Target population
We began offering dance classes to students of all socioeconomic situations and have now extended that to include children from local
orphanages (since 2018).
Funding model
We began as a social enterprise, providing free dance classes to 20% of our students. This shifted with COVID-19. We are heavily depended on our
international donors for programming to continue.
Way in which you collaborate or work with others
In 2018 we worked received international guest artists in Guatemala. In 2020, due to COVID-19, we virtually received over 20 professional
international guest artists from around the world.
