Asociación Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro

We are a non-political and non-governmental association whose objective is to provide medical, educational, spiritual, moral and social assistance to any person with limited resources, orphaned or abandoned. We provide medical consultations, perform specialized surgeries and help people find a permanent home in Guatemala. We exceed the expectations of the sick and needy we serve, but also of the volunteers who collaborate with us and the doctors and professionals, benefactors and government who work with us. We began in 1998 in Honduras working with an orphanage and building houses after Hurricane Mitch destroyed much of the country. We served in Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. We began serving in Guatemala in 2011.

The Instituto Mesoamericano de Permacultura (Instituto Mesoamericano de Permacultura - IMAP) is a non-profit organization based in Guatemala. It was founded in 2000 by a group of local people concerned about the serious environmental, social, political and cultural problems that affect Mesoamerican communities.
