Rights Action works in Honduras and Guatemala in support of community-based land, environmental and human rights defenders resisting harms and (often deadly) violence caused by different sectors of the global economy: mining and hydro-electric dams; for-export production of African palm, sugarcane and bananas; tourism and the ‘sweatshop’ garment industry.

We are dedicated to promoting sustainable development through initiatives to strengthen civil society, cross-sectoral dialogue, political advocacy, training, solidarity promotion, volunteering and for providing information on useful resources for the programmes that we have.

Paz Joven Guatemala is an organization focused on promoting the abilities and potential of young leaders and the local, regional and national level in Guatemala.

Vida is an apolitical and non-profit organization that fights discrimination and defends the fundamental rights of people. We believe that a more inclusive society can be built and to achieve this Vida helps to improve the quality of life of people in our community, facilitating access to services such as education, health and nutrition.

Central America is home to so much bio-diversity, so much culture, communities and tradition, but despite a huge potential, local natural raw materials haven’t been much developed. The Nelixia dream is to bring back value to this fertile region, by developing amazing natural ingredients for the fragrance, flavors and aromatherapy industry.

Contour Lines plants agroforestry projects in mayan villages in the jungles surrounding Livingston, Izabal. We have over 70 sites to date, planting over 5k fruit trees and 20k legume support trees. We believe in hard work and leading by example, not merely preaching, so we directly fund, design and plant these projects, while training locals to plant even more.

Niños del Lago is a Guatemalan works with vulnerable and disadvantaged children. By offering an educational forest camp experience we will provide the opportunity to participate in educational, cultural, creative, and motivational experience aimed to help children to fulfill their potential, dare to dream, and become empathetic future leaders and positive role-models to others.

Xunah Kaab is a place of education focused on the conservation and preservation of native stingless bees, and also honey production.
