1bot is a social enterprise focused on providing a STEM based curriculum to both public and private schools in Guatemala. In the past 5 years we have implemented this curriculum in approximately 60 schools, serving around 20,000 students. Roughly half of these schools are public schools in rural areas of the country. The curriculum was developed in conjunction with Universidad Del Valle and meets the requirements of the Base National Curriculum and the Ministry of Education.
We manage programs related to education among them: - We support education by providing middle level (basic and high school) at affordable prices. - Scholarships for students with more economic difficulties and who have the desire to study. - Extra support (internet, technology and teacher support) for elementary school children in the community. - Leadership program, in order to form good people who are aware of themselves and their environment. - School for parents, free courses are offered in order to provide them with a tool.

Since 2009, LWH has nurtured an education ecosystem, connecting green construction, formal education, equitable international volunteerism, and active participation in 21st century problem-solving. Over the last decade, the LWH builders, staff, volunteers, and donors have transformed 550 tons of trash into a fully functioning K-11 school. In 2019, 77 K-6 students, 51 grade 7-11 students, 27 Teachers/Directors, and 9 builders were direct beneficiaries of CETC employment and education.
