Through the Fellows Program, ConnectED harnesses the energy and commitment of local education leaders by nurturing, building, and mobilizing their skills and strengths to design projects that address educational barriers for youth in their communities.

The Ixil region is a post-conflict community that suffered an ethical cleansing during the 36-year internal armed conflict. Schools were closed for 36 years. Today there is deep poverty and few opportunities for women and girls to break out of the cycle.

CEIPA, the Ecumenical Center for Pastoral Integration, is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 as an extension of the San Marcos Episcopal Church. Directed by Reverend Ricardo García, it focuses on improving the conditions of working children and adolescents in Quetzaltenango. Initially, it guaranteed education, health and nutrition through programs such as street education and medical care. Beginning in 1991, it expanded its work with technical training and promotion of rights through media and public activities. Since 1996, it expanded to additional municipalities.
We are a Christian dance ministry that works with children of all socioeconomic status, including orphanages, providing dance classes, academics support and workshops on health and faith.
Since 2009, LWH has nurtured an education ecosystem, connecting green construction, formal education, equitable international volunteerism, and active participation in 21st century problem-solving. Over the last decade, the LWH builders, staff, volunteers, and donors have transformed 550 tons of trash into a fully functioning K-11 school.
