ARCAS is a non-profit Guatemalan NGO formed in 1989 by a group of Guatemalan citizens who became concerned as they saw their precious natural heritage - especially their wildlife - rapidly disappearing before their eyes. It was originally created for a very specific and urgent purpose: to build a rescue center to care for and rehabilitate wild animals that were being confiscated on the black market by the Guatemalan government.
Asociación Mi Voz Por La Tuya is an organization dedicated to the care, protection, sterilization, rescue and adoption of dogs and cats in street, abandonment and mistreatment situations.
We aim to improve the quality of life of the communities through environmental improvement, care and education. This includes supporting institutions that care for education and the environment. Its members are natives and residents who know and live the reality of the towns, which is why they understand the needs of the people and share the effort to achieve sustainable development.
