Chajulense Mayan Association (AMACHAJUL) AMACHAJUL is a Guatemalan Mayan Ixil non-profit organization located in Chajul, Guatemala. The Ixil region is a post-conflict community that suffered an ethical cleansing during the 36-year internal armed conflict. Schools were closed for 36 years. Today there is deep poverty and few opportunities for women and girls to break out of the cycle.

It is the continuity of ICCO Cooperation in Latin America, gathering all the experience and track record that ICCO has worked in recent years in the region. There is documentation that systematizes and supports this transfer from 2010 to 2020.

CEIPA, the Ecumenical Center for Pastoral Integration, is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 as an extension of the San Marcos Episcopal Church. Directed by Reverend Ricardo García, it focuses on improving the conditions of working children and adolescents in Quetzaltenango. Initially, it guaranteed education, health and nutrition through programs such as street education and medical care. Beginning in 1991, it expanded its work with technical training and promotion of rights through media and public activities. Since 1996, it expanded to additional municipalities.
UPAVIM is a cooperative association of more than 75 members, with more than 70 members working as seamstresses and making handicrafts. UPAVIM also provides employment for women in the community as teachers, administrators, cooks, cleaners, secretaries, accountants, nurses and bakers. Our online store, UPAVIM Crafts is the heart of UPAVIM. UPAVIM Crafts exports beautiful gifts and fair trade crafts around the world and financially supports the Montessori Children's Center and K-6 Montessori School.

The Manos Unidas Cooperative was organized as a result of a diploma course on youth entrepreneurship given by the Bárbara Ford Peace Center during 2013 - 2014. After the diploma course, the cooperative was founded and legalized on April 29, 2015. It has 61 members who have 11 apiaries (33 hives) which are located in the municipalities of Cotzal, Nebaj, Cunen, Santa Cruz del Quiché, Chinique and Canilla, mainly engaged in the production of honey, pollen and propolis eminently (organic / natural).
We are a non-profit association who work with a human rights based approach facilitating processes for the inclusion of people with disabilities, focusing primarily on women with visual and hearing impairments in the areas of education, health, social, economic empowerment and advocacy. We are using the community-based Inclusive Development strategy. We have been legally constituted in 2017 and our territorial coverage are in the departments of Sololá and Quiche.
New Sun Road Guatemala (NSR), is a corporation founded in 2019 that actively works in indigenous communities implementing Digital Community Centers (DCC), which have been funded by USAID/Microsoft Airband Initiative, USAID-MujerProspera and Microsoft. The Digital Community Centers generate economic opportunities for indigenous women by providing access to solar electricity, internet connectivity and training programs in digital, financial and leadership skills.

ROMPIENDO LÍMITES -ASORO- was born from the initiative of people with and without disabilities, who joined forces to work with people with disabilities and their families, working in the department of Chiquimula, specifically in the municipalities of Jocotán, Camotán, Olopa and San Juan Ermita, which belong to the Chortí region and are located within the area recognized as the "Dry Corridor", as well as in Chiquimula, the capital.
We are a project that provides financing with a social focus, generating an economic development impact to the families of our clients served. Our funds are financed by Koica, which is the Cooperation Agency of the Republic of Korea and Good Neighbors (Global Impact Foundation). We provide financing for working capital, housing improvement and agricultural and livestock activities.
ASCATED, is a civil society association that has been dedicated for 30 years in Guatemala to promote the rights of people with disabilities, currently executes its actions through 3 programs including inclusive community development, inclusive education and labor inclusion and entrepreneurship, its 3 programs are aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, developing strategic lines of action such as education and training, research, development of educational materials, legislation and policies among others.
