Asociación Rompiendo Límites
ROMPIENDO LÍMITES -ASORO- was born from the initiative of people with and without disabilities, who joined forces to work with people with disabilities and their families, working in the department of Chiquimula, specifically in the municipalities of Jocotán, Camotán, Olopa and San Juan Ermita, which belong to the Chortí region and are located within the area recognized as the "Dry Corridor", as well as in Chiquimula, the capital. ROMPIENDO LÍMITES is a private, non-profit, non-religious, non-political, social, cultural, educational, humanitarian, social assistance and integral development organization for its users and associates. Currently there are 24 associates, a Board of Directors, and an oversight committee, photocopy of DPI and lack of the Sex Offenders Registry RENAS, such application is presented in assembly who give the final verdict if they are accepted It has its legal status under registration item number 473, folio 473, of book 7 of Civil Associations, same that was obtained on August 16, 2018. This year it has worked with an advisor on a voluntary basis to strengthen the initiatives of the board of directors.
