The Ixil region is a post-conflict community that suffered an ethical cleansing during the 36-year internal armed conflict. Schools were closed for 36 years. Today there is deep poverty and few opportunities for women and girls to break out of the cycle.

SECCATID provides care services for people with drug addiction problems. Services are free of charge to people who present problematic consumption of some psychoactive substance and who come to the center voluntarily. Constru Casa improves the quality of life among Guatemalans through the provision of basic housing and support programs. We work to lift entire communities out of poverty though our integral community development programs which include the construction of dignified concrete block housing in combination with the construction of community buildings such as schools, clinics, orphanages, and community centers.
We began in 1998 in Honduras working with an orphanage and building houses after Hurricane Mitch destroyed much of the country. We served in Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. We began serving in Guatemala in 2011.

Contour Lines plants agroforestry projects in mayan villages in the jungles surrounding Livingston, Izabal. We have over 70 sites to date, planting over 5k fruit trees and 20k legume support trees. We believe in hard work and leading by example, not merely preaching, so we directly fund, design and plant these projects, while training locals to plant even more.
