ACD Guatemala (Asociación para la creatividad y el desarrollo de Guatemala) is a non-profit organization operating in Western Guatemala. Our mission is to serve children and families exposed to vulnerable conditions, violence and irregular migration in rural and complex areas of Guatemala. Our headquarters are located in Quetzaltenango.
We focus on education, development, medical and spiritual care, helping children and adolescents engage in life purpose, healthy relationships and participation to experience community growth.
Rights Action works in Honduras and Guatemala in support of community-based land, environmental and human rights defenders resisting harms and (often deadly) violence caused by different sectors of the global economy: mining and hydro-electric dams; for-export production of African palm, sugarcane and bananas; tourism and the ‘sweatshop’ garment industry.
We aim to contribute to the construction of a just and inclusive society by facilitating processes that enable and promote the empowerment of people with disabilities, their families, and their community to advocate for, demand, and fully exercise their rights.
ROMPIENDO LÍMITES -ASORO- was born from the initiative of people with and without disabilities, who joined forces to work with people with disabilities and their families, working in the department of Chiquimula, specifically in the municipalities of Jocotán, Camotán, Olopa and San Juan Ermita, which belong to the Chortí region and are located within the area recognized as the "Dry Corridor", as well as in Chiquimula, the capital.
ASCATED, is a civil society association that has been dedicated for 30 years in Guatemala to promote the rights of people with disabilities, currently executes its actions through 3 programs including inclusive community development, inclusive education and labor inclusion and entrepreneurship, its 3 programs are aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, developing strategic lines of action such as education and training, research, development of educational materials, legislation and policies among others.
We enhance the impact of organizations, governments and philanthropic funds, facilitating the identification of their challenges and building ways of working that allow them to maximize their value generation. Here's how we do it:

2) We design and facilitate events.
3) We assist in the development or strengthening of sustainable organizational models.
4) We promote the design and development of learning communities.
5) We facilitate the design of products and services.
Like many other Latin American countries that share the Pacific and Caribbean coastline, Guatemala is experiencing a crisis of development and overfishing, exacerbated by the lack of opportunities, income alternatives and the scarcity of scientific knowledge about the true state of the different fishery resource populations, mainly chondrichthyans. Faced with this situation, Mundo Azul Foundation has initiated its efforts to generate scientific information that advances the level of knowledge about sharks, rays and other fisheries.

Tejiendo Futuros is works integrally with the family to develop human beings holistically focusing on the Human Rights for the Child. Starting with the children through a holistic education program that focuses on physical and mental health, while also providing emotional support to the mothers, fathers and siblings of the students through the Strengthened Families program. In addition a third program, provides healthy nutrition and ecological practices through agroecology.
TECHO is an organization present in 19 Latin American countries, which seeks to overcome the situation of poverty that millions of people live in overcrowded and under resourced settlements, through the joint action of its inhabitants and volunteers.
Since 2009, LWH has nurtured an education ecosystem, connecting green construction, formal education, equitable international volunteerism, and active participation in 21st century problem-solving. Over the last decade, the LWH builders, staff, volunteers, and donors have transformed 550 tons of trash into a fully functioning K-11 school. In 2019, 77 K-6 students, 51 grade 7-11 students, 27 Teachers/Directors, and 9 builders were direct beneficiaries of CETC employment and education.
