Mission, vision & values

Mission

Our mission is to help children born with a cleft lip and cleft palate to have a happy life. We do this to provide comprehensive cleft care to all our patients.

Vision

Our vision is to help at least 400 children every year born with cleft lip and cleft palate. We want all of them to have a meaningful and happy life.

Products, services, and programs

Products

We provide special feeding bottles and formula cans.

Services

We provide all surgeries, milk for the malnourished babies to have a healthy weight undergoing surgery and speech therapy for after surgery.

Programs

Milk program is average 4 till 5 months until they have the healthy weight to undergo surgery.

The speech therapy program is around 2 years long, starting after the cleft palate surgery.

After the surgery the children are able to eat and drink normally and talk. They can start to have a normal life.

Location

We changed location a couple of times and now we are building our own hospital.

Target population

Our target population was in the beginning only the "altiplano", but now we reach all of Guatemala.

Short term objectives

Growth

We will grow because we have more patients because of Covid.

We always focus on good quality care and because of the nutrition and surgeries we make a big impact on the lives of the children.

Long term objectives

Growth

We will say yes to every child with cleft that enters our program.

We always want to improve quality and the impact will be always the same, changing the lives of the kids.
