Impact to date

The impact of Niños del Lago has been to motivate Guatemalan children to dare to take advantage of opportunities, foster their self-confidence and develop their potential to become positive agents of change in their communities.

Every year, Niños del Lago serves an average of 200 children in rural areas with its "A trip to the forest" program, and in response to the food crisis caused by the pandemic, through its "Food Aid" program, it benefits more than 1200 families with the delivery of packages containing nutritious staple foods.

Impact measuring

The beneficiaries of our programs at the end of their participation are able to assess their actions to project their future with self-confidence and promote their school year satisfactorily.

We measure our impact based on written and oral evaluations through discussion and follow-up groups that yield quantitative data and that evaluate the actions of the participants by identifying the needs in their environment and the importance of their actions for the benefit of conflict resolution.
