Asociación Puente works with groups of women in vulnerable communities and with the prevention of chronic malnutrition for children under the age of 5. We provide education in food and nutrition security, food preparation, agricultural activities, local savings and credit associations and income generation.
Our mission is to prevent chronic malnutrition through development of competencies in women and their families.
Our vision is a new generation of healthy Guatemalans who have opportunities.
We provide families with wood-saving stoves, rain water collectors, and water filters. The families pay a percentage of the price and the rest is covered by Puente.
We educate women and their families on how to combat chronic child malnutrition.
We offer the “Dando la talla” program.
