Asociación Por una Vida Digna trains marginalized community leaders to promote their own development, actively participate in global networks to strengthen civil society organizations, and address citizen security, education and strengthening civil society.

Founded 2012 in Guatemala, as a private, non-profit, non-religious, non-partisan organization with its own assets. With the sole purpose of being a platform that promotes sustainable human development.

Our mission is to be a platform that seeks human development, through the promotion of activities and training, which contributes to the cultural formation of the population.


AVD seeks a complete, pertinent, effective, responsible and creative citizen participation to support the recognition of cultural wealth and diversity, as resources for sustainable human development.

Products, services, and programs


At the moment we do not offer products, but we have offered talks on violence prevention.


AVD is a non-profit association, whose human development projects focused on security, education and strengthening of civil society.


Our programs include a) Youth Against Violence (citizen security) b) Local Community Development (education and leadership) c) Innovation for Change (Innovation and strengthening of civil society).
