Mission, vision & values

Mission

Our mission is to implement innovative and effective actions to help transform realities that affect children, adolescents and youth in Guatemala. Our preferred option is children, adolescents and youth who are excluded and most at risk.

Vision

We want to be an institution with consolidated direct care alternatives. We want to be an organization that is making significant contributions in the knowledge and care of children. With research on the realities of childhood that help to implement more assertive actions to transform them.

An organization consolidated with other activists, professionals and volunteers. In 5 years we want to be recognized not only as activists but also as a reference organization and positioned for children, adolescents and youth excluded and at risk.

Values
We value empathy with children and adolescents
committed militancy and coherence.

Throughout 13 years COINCIDIR has served and empowered 20,000 girls in 60 rural and urban communities. It has promoted, formed and strengthened an organization of girls with representation from all communities who are a reference of political and public participation of girls for the defense and enforceability of their rights.

Impact measuring

We measure impact by:

  • Comparing with baselines.
  • With an institutional monitoring system and plan.
  • With mid-term and final evaluations.
