We aim to contribute to the construction of a just and inclusive society by facilitating processes that enable and promote the empowerment of people with disabilities, their families, and their community to advocate for, demand, and fully exercise their rights.
She's the First is a global nonprofit organization that partners with community-based organizations to ensure that girls around the world are educated, respected and heard. Our work is divided into two pillars: we build cohorts of community organizations and provide them with funding, training and flexible resources to support girls’ access to school and after-school mentorship programs, and we engage in girl-led advocacy activities around the world.
We are a non-profit association who work with a human rights based approach facilitating processes for the inclusion of people with disabilities, focusing primarily on women with visual and hearing impairments in the areas of education, health, social, economic empowerment and advocacy.
