MAIA is redefining the word "school" in rural Guatemala. The organizational model of Colegio Impacto de MAIA obtains the best international educational practices, methodologies, structures and resources from high impact organizations and then contextualizes them. Our teaching model is influenced by educational organizations in the United States that are making significant changes with traditionally underserved populations. These teachings are contextualized and strengthened with the cultural identity of the Young Pioneers, allowing them to develop 21st century skills.

Peronia Adolescente is an association legally constituted in 2004, working for a fairer reality for Guatemala. It facilitates spaces of integral formation, using games, art and alternative sports, promoting leadership and volunteering of adolescents and young people of scarce resources who are vulnerable in Ciudad Peronia.
Somos la Asociación Juntos Podemos de El Hato, una comunidad de alrededor de 1500 habitantes en el Altiplano Central al norte de Antigua. Chajulense Mayan Association (AMACHAJUL) AMACHAJUL is a Guatemalan Mayan Ixil non-profit organization located in Chajul, Guatemala. The Ixil region is a post-conflict community that suffered an ethical cleansing during the 36-year internal armed conflict. Schools were closed for 36 years. Today there is deep poverty and few opportunities for women and girls to break out of the cycle.
Conexión is a local Guatemalan NGO, with a Mesoamerican vision. It is the continuity of ICCO Cooperation in Latin America, gathering all the experience and track record that ICCO has worked in recent years in the region. There is documentation that systematizes and supports this transfer from 2010 to 2020.

World Renew is an organization that has worked for nearly 60 years to reduce malnutrition, poverty and disease worldwide. The Guatemala program focuses on food security, community health, economic opportunity and disaster response and preparedness, working with local partners through funding and capacity building to make progress in these program areas.
The Association was established in Guatemala in 2006, and works in the Chimaltenango area with a main focus on reducing chronic child malnutrition in rural areas.
Tierra Nueva is a non-governmental organization that operates in the Western Highlands area of Guatemala; it develops programs and projects focused on providing support to children, adolescents, youth and women, seeking that these age groups have the opportunities and resources necessary to achieve a comprehensive development. With TuConsejería we are providing remote mental health services to underserved populations, with an emphasis on women survivors of violence, youth and suicide support. We have 3 affordable and confidential services: emotional support chat in times of crisis, video / audio psychological therapy and support groups.

Since 2009, LWH has nurtured an education ecosystem, connecting green construction, formal education, equitable international volunteerism, and active participation in 21st century problem-solving. Over the last decade, the LWH builders, staff, volunteers, and donors have transformed 550 tons of trash into a fully functioning K-11 school. In 2019, 77 K-6 students, 51 grade 7-11 students, 27 Teachers/Directors, and 9 builders were direct beneficiaries of CETC employment and education.
