Guatemala Youth Initiative (GYI) serves the youth in the marginalized communities that surround the landfill in Guatemala City, offering education and services so that they can achieve their goals. Non-profit association, with more than 20 years of work in Guatemala through the Futuro Vivo project, which seeks to provide tools and opportunities for a better future to families in extreme poverty in zone 16 of Guatemala City and in Samac Cobán, Alta Verapaz.
