People for Guatemala is an all volunteer organization. Its primary function is to raise and collect funds to support the mission in Guatemala.

Natün Guatemala works in the Lake Atitlán region of Guatemala to implement community-led programs that address systemic barriers and build cultural strength and resilience. Our work is driven by the expertise of Mayan staff and community leaders towards long-term, meaningful change in the areas of education, nutrition & health, and economic development.

CuéntaNos is an interactive platform that contributes to empowerment through access to information on different types of direct care provided by different governmental and civil society entities that make up a network. People in need of care can make decisions and obtain support tools. We contribute to the emotional recovery of people in crisis, through psychosocial care via chat.

Our mission is to actively develop and maintain a professional, career-oriented, agricultural workforce, committed to returning to farms year after year.
Founded in 1992, Local Hope (Xela AID Guatemala) provides low- and no-cost health and mental health care and clean water support; intensive support for education including a Montessori Preschool, Educational Scholarships, a Study Center and Adult Literacy Program, and certified COVID-safe Computer Lab; a Leadership Certificate Program, job skills training; and social services included a Special Needs Program for Children and Youth with Disabilities and a budding program for senior support. These programs serve approximately 5000 people annually.

The Instituto Mesoamericano de Permacultura (Instituto Mesoamericano de Permacultura - IMAP) is a non-profit organization based in Guatemala. It was founded in 2000 by a group of local people concerned about the serious environmental, social, political and cultural problems that affect Mesoamerican communities.
We have established an education center where we promotes the teaching of Permaculture techniques, the conservation of biodiversity, the production of seeds and vegetables in an organic way, and a seed bank that fights for the rescue of the heritage of native seeds.

The Riecken Foundation promotes a network of innovative community libraries in Honduras and Guatemala that awaken the spirit of discovery and social participation through activities in the libraries. We have shown that community libraries are essential to a democratic society. Libraries are institutions that citizens use to make informed decisions and reach their full potential. They provide essential knowledge, encourage critical thinking, and encourage self-education and lifelong learning.
Vida is an apolitical and non-profit organization that fights discrimination and defends the fundamental rights of people. We believe that a more inclusive society can be built and to achieve this Vida helps to improve the quality of life of people in our community, facilitating access to services such as education, health and nutrition.
